NBA to replace players with average humans in response to Pistons viewership increase

DETROIT - Sitting at 2-26 and two games away from the record for the most losses in a row in NBA history, the Detroit Pistons have become must-see TV, with ratings for the Pistons jumping up by more than 73%.
In response, NBA commissioner Adam Silver has decided to scrap all the players in the league and replace them with average humans. "It's clear there is nothing our viewers want to watch more than people that suck at basketball, and now the fans will have a chance to watch 30 teams worth of them," Silver said.
When asked to elaborate on the decision, Silver stated, "NBA players are too successful to be relatable for regular humans. Why do you think all the most popular musicians like Taylor Swift are broke?"
The inaugural draft of the National Bad Association will take place on New Year's Day as talentless individuals across the globe will gather in New York City hoping they are picked.
