Man unfairly goes to jail for literally shooting somebody

LOS ANGELES - Canadian rapper Tory Lanez was sentenced to 10 years in jail Tuesday afternoon for shooting Megan Thee Stallion, causing outrage around the internet. "I would of never thought that shooting somebody would get you in trouble," one person said.
The shooting took place in July 2020, over three years ago. Around a third of the time since Tory last released decent music, according to LAPD reports.
The rapper's lawyer defended Lanez, saying, "My client is from Canada, and from the outside, it appeared that shooting people was completely legal in the US."
