Grizzlies hire Tom Thibodeau to punish Ja Morant

MEMPHIS - A harsh punishment was laid down by NBA commissioner Adam Silver on Wednesday morning, as Ja Morant will be forced to play under Tom Thibodeau during the 2023-2024 season. Thibodeau, of course, is known for running his players into the ground. "It's essentially a two-season-long suspension when you consider the time needed for injury recovery," Silver said.

On May 15th, NBA star Ja Morant was suspended from the Grizzlies for flashing a gun on Instagram. However, Morant's team claims it was a toy gun. "Flexing with a toy gun would accurately represent the Grizzlies 2023 season," an anonymous player tells The Garbage Basket.

At press time, Tom Thibodeau is excited about his new job. "Ja reminds me a lot of that Rose guy I used to coach. Wonder whatever happened to that dude," Thibodeau said.
