PORTLAND - As the NBA offseason kicks off, with free agency set to begin on June 30th, the biggest question remains: What will Dame do? "I really, really, really do not want to be traded," Lillard tells reporter Chris Haynes for the 900th day in a row.
"If Portland were to trade me to a contender, such as the Miami Heat, I would be devastated. Once again, if I got traded to Miami, specifically the Miami Heat, owned by Pat Riley, I would be devastated," said the seven-time All-Star.
Portland's front office has assured Lillard that they will never, "ever" trade him. "We are committed to making a winning team around Dame by surrounding him with some of the most mediocre players of all time," Blazers GM Joe Cronin said.
