Reddit is more than just a place to complain about everything. It has proven to be an excellent life coach. "At first, I was going to follow my dreams and passions, but after I saw a comment from a 12-year-old post, my whole perspective changed," said recent high school graduate Ron Wrankley.
Ron wanted to become an engineer, but after u/MaturePasta60 said, "It was brutal living conditions. They made me go to school for four years to make a measly six figure salary for my first job," he quickly decided to change paths. Wrankley searched up 'Best careers reddit' on Google, clicked on the link and chose the career that popped up first. "As long as the comment has a lot of karma, then you can trust it," he said.
However, Ron made a crucial mistake of not checking for a '/srs' tag by the original poster. As a result, Wrankley will be starting his entrepreneurship career with a submarine exploration business named 'OceanGate'.
